Named after businessman Gerald J Ford - not the former president - this stadium in Dallas, Texas, is home to the SMU Mustangs of Southern Methodist University. Ford attended the university and has served on the SMU Board of Trustees for over 15 years, and he donated $20 million to build the stadium, which opened in 2000. It was constructed to replace Ownby Stadium, which was demolished in 1998. In addition to hosting all home games for the Mustangs, it's a frequent host of high school football games, and in 2010 and 2011, it hosted the Armed Forces Bowl.
