You'll find six metered lots for visitors within 620 yards of the coliseum.
What food and drink options are there?
You have many restaurants to choose from in Ames, but inside the coliseum, there's Johnny's. It serves soft drinks and snacks. The Hilton Coliseum is a wheelchair-accessible facility. Its handicap-accessible parking lot on the west side of the structure, Lot B2, leads to the accessible entrance on the coliseum's west side. An elevator provides access to all levels of the event center. It offers special seating accommodations on a first-come, first-served basis on the concourse level.
Where are the best Hilton Coliseum seats located?
This depends on the event you attend. Since it is a multipurpose event center, the best seats depend on the layout of the event floor. For example, at gymnastics events, if floor exercises are your favorite event, choose sections 131 or 132. If beam is your favorite event, choose sections 101 or 102. At wrestling events, the best seats go to the students and season ticket holders. You'll need to sit behind them in any of the 200 sections.Back to Top
