Located in the heart of Columbus, Ohio, MAPFRE Stadium is best known for hosting lively soccer matches. Formerly known as the Columbus Crew Stadium, this playing field is the home venue for the Columbus Crew SC of the MLS (Major Soccer League). Construction for the building finished in 1999. It was the first soccer stadium built explicitly for an MLS team in the United States. Following a sponsorship deal with MAPFRE Insurance, the stadium was renamed MAPFRE Stadium in 2015. The groundbreaking stadium has been hosting plenty of open-air concerts and soccer matches ever since, including two U.S. Open Cup final games and two Major League Soccer All-Star Games. Is it necessary to buy a ticket for my child?

Yes, MAPFRE Stadium requires parents to purchase tickets for their children. For Crew SC matches, children 2 years of age and under will be admitted into the stadium without a ticket. However, they're required to remain seated on the lap of their guardian during events.

Can I bring food and drinks into the stadium?

Guests aren't permitted to bring any outside food or drink into MAPFRE Stadium. There's also a strict alcohol policy enforced during all events at the stadium. All patrons must be 21 and older to purchase and consume any alcoholic beverage. There's a two alcoholic drink limit per guest. Guests with masks or face paint are prohibited from being served alcohol as it disrupts the identification process.
