Lansing is entering his ninth season as the Sycamores head coach and spent eight years as an assistant prior to that. He has long been dedicated to the Indiana State basketball program. Before coaching at Indiana State, Lansing was an assistant for the Iowa Hawkeyes and had another stint as an assistant at ISU before that. He also spent time as a high school coach at Roosevelt High School in Des Moines, Iowa.
