Such Great HeightsIron & Wine released a debut album recorded from his basement home studio in 2002 entitled The Creek Drank The Cradle. Later that year, he recorded a cover of The Postal Service's "Such Great Heights." Iron & Wine's second full-length album, Our Endless Numbered Days, came in 2004. It was the first to be recorded in a professional studio and also the first to appear on the Billboard 200, where it peaked at No. 158. The popular song "The Trapeze Swinger" was recorded the same year to be featured in the movie In Good Company. His cover of "Such Great Heights" was also used in an advertisement for M&Ms and the soundtrack of Garden State. In 2005, Iron & Wine produced an EP titled Woman King, which featured a beloved single of the same name. The Shepherd's Dog was released in 2007 and was largely inspired by confusion surrounding the re-election of Bush. The album, which peaked at No. 24, contained some of Iron & Wine's most prominent songs to date including "Boy With A Coin" and "Flightless Bird, American Mouth," which is widely known from the prom and wedding scenes in the Twilight movies. 2011's Kiss Each Other Clean was the first album to be released on a major label and peaked at No. 2, which remains the peak position for any Iron & Wine album. "Tree By The River" is the most notable song to come from the album. Ghost On Ghost came in 2013 and debuted at No. 26. The album produced the two singles "Lovers' Revolution" and "Grace For Saints And Ramblers." 2015 brought Iron & Wine's first full-length collaboration album, which featured Ben Bridwell from Band Of Horses. The cover album Sing Into My Mouth peaked at No. 116. Iron & Wine followed up with yet another collaboration album, this time with singer-songwriter Jesca Hoop. This time, the collaboration was comprised of entirely original music. Beast Epic was much more successful than the previous two albums and peaked at No. 44. Iron & Wine recently released 2019's Years To Burn, which is his second collaboration with Calexico. They previously released a joint EP in 2005 entitled In The Reins.
