Irving Plaza has stood for more than 150 years. Since its conversion into a primarily rock-centric auditorium in 1978, the Irving Plaza venue has played host to iconic live performances such as Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton. More contemporary rock groups such as the Dave Matthews Band have found a warm welcome here too. Prior to the conversion, the original Irving Plaza served in a variety of eclectic roles. No fewer than four individual brownstones were combined to form a hotel. Later, this location became a center for performing dance groups, a meeting house, a ballroom theater and a hall for Polish veterans. Many artists consider Irving Plaza to be an important stepping stone in their musical or live performance careers. Get your tickets to a number of exciting Irving Plaza events at StubHub.
