John Edward tour dates
Psychic medium, author and television personality John Edward brings nearly 30 years’ experience to his readings in hopes of reuniting the living with their deceased loved ones. Using the philosophy that life and love are eternal and the energy of the spirit never dies but simply changes, Edward’s readings attempt to provide hope and healing through warm, light-hearted communication between the living and dead.
The John Edward tour features individual public psychic readings for a select number of audience members followed by a question and answer session.
John Edward career milestones
Born in 1969 to a Catholic Irish-Italian family on Long Island, NY, and christened John Edward McGee Jr., Edward demonstrated psychic abilities at an early age when he began identifying long deceased family members and events that happened from before his birth. In his early 20s, during a reading by psychic Lydia Clar, he considered professionally using his unique abilities. Clar informed Edward she envisioned him using his psychic talent to help others on a grand scale by reuniting the living with the dead.
He began doing individual readings and in doing so, discovered his calling in life. In 1998, he wrote his first book One Last Time. The book became a New York Times Best Seller and led to Edward hosting his first television show, Crossing Over with John Edward. The show ran from 2004 until 2006 on the Sci-Fi Channel in the U.S. and Living TV in the U.K. The show’s 700-plus episodes continue in syndicated broadcasts in countries around the world. In 2006, Edward produced John Edward Cross Country, in which he traveled the country providing readings to celebrities and private individuals.
In addition to his bestselling book One Last Time, Edward’s published books include What if God Were the Sun, Crossing Over: The Stories Behind the Stories, After Life: Answers from the Other Side, Final Beginnings, Practical Praying: Using the Rosary to Enhance Your Life, Infinite Quest, a published novel, Fallen Masters and an electronic novel, Above and Beyond.
He appears on television shows such as Oprah, the Today Show and Dr. Phil, as well as in articles for The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Associated Press, among others.
Preferring to provide readings for individuals and small groups instead of large television audiences, Edward launched his members-only platform THE FIVE on his website in 2011, to connect with people on a deeper level. Edward rebranded the platform as EVOLVE in 2013, to more accurately align with his mission to communicate, validate, appreciate and evolve.
