Eisenhower Theater is one of the performance venues within the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts. It opened in 1971 and has been host to many musical, stage and dance performances. Eisenhower Theater was renovated in 2007-2008 to modernize the facility. At this time, the number of seats was increased to 1,163. As a national theater, the Kennedy Center was built with a combination of private and public funds. In fact, this marked the first time that the federal government helped pay for the construction of a performing arts venue. Eisenhower Theater is the smaller and more intimate than the other halls at the Kennedy Center, which are the Opera House and the Concert Hall. The venue contains an orchestra pit that can be converted into seating or stage space if needed. Find tickets for Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater events at StubHub.
