In 2013, this unmistakable vocalist released Christmas album Wilde Winter Songbook, with 18 great versions of seasonal tracks. As well as classic songs such as 'Winter Wonderland', 'Rocking Around the Christmas Tree' and 'Deck the Halls (Angels Sing)', she has covered some much loved contemporary hits such as Wham's 'Last Christmas' and 'White Winter Hymnal' by Fleet Foxes. Featuring Rick Astley, Hal Fowler and Nik Kershaw, as well as family members Marty and Ricky Wilde, it makes for a great festive listen. While most famous for her career in music, this versatile superstar has moonlighted in recent years as a landscape gardener, authoring a number of successful books on horticulture. However, singing remains her first love, and her voice is as strong as ever live in concert.

The release of this singer's debut single 'Kids in America' in 1981 instantly catapulted her into the spotlight on both sides of the Atlantic, prompting a stellar pop career that continues to this day. Her debut album arrived the same year, and tracks 'Chequered Love' and 'Water on Glass' both established her as a mainstay in the UK charts throughout the '80s and '90s. The pop icon's biggest hit came in 1986 with 'You Keep Me Hangin' On' which topped the US Billboard 200, and she continued to bring out successful records until 1995, when she took a break from music to focus on her family life. After a guest role on 'Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime' by German pop sensation Nena in 2006, she returned with Never Say Never, her first studio album for 11 years. With Come Out and Play and Snapshots following in recent years, Christmas album Wilde Winter Songbook is her latest work to keep her fans happy.
