Essentially a rock 'n' roll supergroup, Kings of Chaos (formerly known as the Rock 'n' Roll All-Stars) are anchored by Matt Sorum, Duff McKagan and Gilby Clarke of Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver fame, but also feature a string of rotating bandmates from groups like Aerosmith, Deep Purple and Def Leppard.
The band isn't meant to have a permanent lineup. Instead, those with Kings of Chaos tickets might see between three and six core artists, with others dropping in to lend their talents. Past guests include Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Slash of Guns N' Roses and Gene Simmons of KISS.
Tough Kings of Chaos is, first and foremost, a touring band, they did record one single: "Never Before," which was released as part of the Deep Purple tribute album Re-Machined: A Tribute to Deep Purple's Machine Head. During their live shows the band sticks to covers of the classic rock staples that made its individual members -- and their original groups - famous.
