One of the toughest stadiums to play in college football, Lane Stadium, on the campus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in scenic Blacksburg, Virginia, has been through a lot of renovations and expansions over the years. The end result is a spacious, modern football stadium that has everything an enthusiastic collegiate football fan might enjoy. The playing surface was named Worsham Field in 1991 after a longtime supporter named Wes Worsham. At Lane Stadium, you can enjoy the entire season of Virginia Tech Hokie football in great comfort with enormous, state-of-the-art Jumbotrons to improve your view, any kind of concession you could want at a collegiate game and with the fine entertainment of university's two talented bands: the Highty-Tighties of the university's Corps of Cadets and the Marching Virginians, the university's general marching band. Is parking available at Lane Stadium?

Yes, there are many places to park on campus for a fee, and some are close to the stadium. Extended parking is also available on Prices Fork Road at P2. Accessibility parking is also available in designated lots. The venue recommends making arrangements for such parking in advance as spaces are limited. There is a handicapped-accessible shuttle to take guests from this lot to the stadium. These courtesy shuttles are stationed inside the stadium at the gates if needed before, during and after the games.

Yes, the Blacksburg Transit, known as BT, is a great way to get to Lane Stadium for Hokie game days. For a reasonable fare, you can be dropped off up to three hours before kickoff and all the way to the start of halftime.
