Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a motorsports track located 15 minutes northeast of the Strip. The asphalt track is home to a variety of sporting events hosted by the NHRA, NASCAR, Red Bull and Pennzoil. The 80,000-seat capacity track first opened in 1972 with a simple drag strip and road course. In 1985, an oval ring was added, and in 1996, a 3/8 mile oval ring was added. Where should I park at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway?
Free parking is readily available at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Parking lots surround the entire stadium. Handicap parking and special parking passes are also available for qualifying patrons.
What are the food and beverage options at the speedway?
On the main concourse of the motorsports track, there are a variety of food and beverage concession stands. Available food choices include hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, pizza, BBQ and sausages. Beverage choices include coffee, beer, water and many types of soda. Specialty concession stands and food choices are found in the Neon Garage.
Are camping facilities available during NASCAR events?
Yes, there are a variety of camping sites located just outside the Las Vegas Motor Speedway motorsports track. Camping site options include simple tent campsites and sites for parking RVs as well. Mobile medical vehicles are available for campers and event goers in case of an emergency. The nearby campgrounds are easy to travel to and from via complimentary shuttles and also feature showers, restrooms and picnic areas. Camping sites are booked weeks and months in advance and are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Is Las Vegas Motor Speedway a wheelchair-friendly venue?
The staff at the motorsports track is dedicated to making accommodations for patrons in a wheelchair. Special seating arrangements, entries and camping parking options are available for those with special needs and wheelchairs. Accommodations must be arranged by phone with track personnel.
Can credentials be picked up on-site?
