LEGO KidsFest Wisconsin
LEGO KidsFest appeals to imaginations of all ages as it combines hands-on LEGO building with family-friendly entertainment for a fun, interactive three-day event. Since 2009, LEGO KidsFest has made more than 30 tour stops in cities all across the United States.
LEGO KidsFest is a huge, humming festival offering group sessions, building areas for all ages, awe-inspiring displays and entertaining competitions. Participants can get creative in interactive building zones designed to empower their inner architects. Young children (ages 1½ to 5 years) play with large, easy-to-handle blocks in the “DUPLO Building Area.” In the “Construction Zone,” kids (ages 5 years and up) are encouraged to build whatever their minds can imagine. “LEGO Disney Princess” offers an opportunity to create fairytale stories with Disney-themed blocks. Festivalgoers can compete in the “Brick Battle Zone” and become part of the show.
Other activity areas include “LEGO Juniors,” the “Challenge Zone” and “Nexo Knights.” LEGO Master Builders are also on hand to share tricks, tips, and secrets with more advanced LEGO fans. The main hall is the perfect place to go for a stroll and see dozens of life-size and miniature displays built entirely of LEGOs. All of these and the world’s largest pile of LEGO bricks make this a memorable event for every member of the family.
The Wisconsin tour stop of LEGO KidsFest is held at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee. The convention center is a Milwaukee landmark in itself. It is worth a tour to admire the exciting architecture and design and to view the Burke Family Collection (artwork valued at $1.2 million) exhibited there. With an advanced technology infrastructure and customer focus, it is the ideal venue to for conventions, trade shows and banquets. A sports arena and theater are situated nearby to form the Wisconsin Center District.
LEGO KidsFest tours cities all over North America. Check out the event schedule and purchase your tickets at StubHub.
