The Louisville Palace is a music venue in Downtown Louisville and is one of the centerpieces of the city's vibrant theater district. With a seating capacity of 2,800, it was opened up in 1928. Some of its architectural features include arcades, balconies, turrets and a vaulted ceiling with over 100 sculptures. The theater was designed by John Ebersen, a European-born, American architect who was responsible for designing hundreds of theaters and other spaces. With its re-dedication in 1994, the Louisville Palace, also known as the Palace Theatre, has become a premier venue for any musicians coming into town, such as Kings of Leon and the Dave Matthews Band. It also hosts regular movie nights, showing a mix of classics and modern films. Get your tickets for your favorite Louisville Palace events at StubHub.
