Mac Ayres background
Having grown up in Sea Cliff, NY, Mac Ayres first began developing his vocal skills in elementary school. Active in the choir from a young age, he taught himself to play the piano, guitar and bass as his musical talent flourished. He has previously revealed that his sound comes from musicians such as Stevie Wonder, D�Angelo, Marvin Gaye, J. Dilla and Michael Jackson. His Long Island home is also his recording studio.

His debut single, �Easy,� which first brought attention to this rising talent, played over a million times globally within two months of its release. His first EP, Drive Slow, released by the record label ARIME, contained songs, such as "Slow Down," "Calvin's Joint," "Show Me" and "The Devil's in the Details," that formed the base of tours through Asia, Europe and the Americas. The second album by Mac Ayres, Something to Feel, released in August 2018, offers the title song as well as "Get to You Again." Tunes on the album highlight the multiple instruments that Ayres plays, including drums, guitar and keyboard.

Mac Ayres career milestones
While he recorded his early works at home, the first full album of this full-bodied tenor released when he was only 20 years old. In addition to working with ARIME, he also recorded music with Fete Records. His songs have featured other musical talent as well, including Jack Dine, and he has toured with HW&W signee Pomo. He produces and writes his music.
