Discover one of the most important figures in the hip-hop scene, responsible for a whole host of hit records. From opening an iconic record store in the early 90s to becoming one of the rap game’s most successful entrepreneurs, you can get your Master P tickets here at StubHub and be at one of his upcoming shows.
Growing up in New Orleans, Percy Robert Miller was a talented basketball player who earned a scholarship from the University of Houston, however, he later left to pursue his two greatest passions: music and business. After moving to California, he began studying business administration and used an inheritance to open the legendary No Limit Records shop in Richmond, which would later become a record label. While becoming an integral part of the West Coast hip-hop scene, P also grew his reputation as a rapper: his studio albums "Get Away Clean" (1991) and "Mama's Bad Boy" (1992) were extremely popular and he became known as the opening act for rap legend, Tupac Shakur. By 1995, P relocated No Limit Records to his hometown of New Orleans, and set about establishing a rap empire using a number of in-house artists and producers to produce chart hits such as "Make 'Em Say Ugh!". For your chance to be at an upcoming show of this rap game legend, grab your Master P tickets or put any extra tickets up for sale here at StubHub!
After a brief stint attempting to resurrect his basketball player career and earning trials at numerous NBA teams, P returned to the business of the music industry and continued to expand his empire. Through his business acumen and instinct for hit records, he has become a hugely influential figure with fellow rapper Ice Cube praising him as one of the best businessmen he has ever met. He has not, however, left his position as a leading rapper and performer behind, and continued to release hit albums and mixtapes over the years. A testament to his position in the rap game, his 2016 release "The G Mixtape" featured appearances from some of the biggest names including 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, and Travis Scott. Over his career, the New Orleans rapper has been responsible for some of hip-hop’s biggest anthems with songs like "Choppa Style" and "Burbons and Lacs" being played in clubs around the world on a regular basis. Attend a show of a true rap game legend and buy or sell your Master P tickets here at StubHub today!
