Where do the Michigan Wolverines play?The Michigan Wolverines play their home games at Yost Ice Arena. Originally, this building was constructed as a field house. From 1924 to 1973, the building housed sports like basketball and track and field, but in the 1970s, it was converted to an ice hockey arena. The first hockey game held in the building took place in November 1973. In 2012, the arena undertook a more extensive renovation that brought the building into compliance with ADA requirements and further modernized the space. Yost Ice Arena holds 5,800 fans.
