Milwaukee Brewers in Phoenix tickets

The Milwaukee Brewers play National League Central baseball at American Family Field, the 41,900-seat ballpark that opened in 2001 as Miller Park and carried that name through the 2020 season. The on-field results have stacked up: Milwaukee has won four consecutive division titles from 2023 through 2026, and the 2025 club set a franchise record with 97 wins before the eventual champion Los Angeles Dodgers ended its National League Championship Series run. Between the winning and a fan culture that leans hard into the city's brewing identity, Brewers tickets have become a summer staple in Wisconsin.

The franchise's path to Milwaukee is one of baseball's stranger origin stories. The club began play in 1969 as the Seattle Pilots, an American League expansion team, then relocated to Milwaukee after one season and took a name honoring the city's brewing industry. The Brewers called Milwaukee County Stadium home from 1970 through 2000 and moved from the American League to the National League in 1998. The early Milwaukee years produced the franchise's defining team: the 1982 club, remembered as Harvey's Wallbangers, won the American League pennant behind MVP Robin Yount and pushed the St. Louis Cardinals to seven games in the World Series. A long quiet stretch followed, until the 2008 wild card berth ended a 26-year postseason drought and the 2011 team delivered the franchise's first division title in 29 years.

• MVP Awards: Rollie Fingers (1981), Robin Yount (1982 and 1989), Ryan Braun (2011), and Christian Yelich (2018). Fingers was the first relief pitcher in American League history to win the honor.
• Cy Young Awards: Rollie Fingers (1981), Pete Vuckovich (1982), and Corbin Burnes (2021).
• Rookie of the Year: Pat Listach (1992), Ryan Braun (2007), and Devin Williams (2020).
• Baseball Hall of Fame: ten inductees spent all or part of their careers in Milwaukee, including Robin Yount, the only one to spend his entire career as a Brewer, plus Paul Molitor, Rollie Fingers, and Hank Aaron, who closed his career in a Brewers uniform.

Brewers fandom is stitched into the fabric of the city. The team answers to The Brew Crew and to Los Cerveceros, Spanish for the Brewers, and the beloved ball-in-glove logo hides an M and a B inside a baseball glove; an art history student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire designed it in 1978. Bernie Brewer, the mustachioed mascot, joined the club in 1973, and the Sausage Race gives Milwaukee one of the most recognizable in-game traditions in baseball. The bond reaches across the city's sports scene: Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo became a minority owner in 2021. For anyone weighing Milwaukee Brewers tickets, the appeal is as much the crowd as the club.
