Quebec Championship History
This one hasn't been around for all that long, debuting in 2010, but that only means that this is an event that has a very bright future ahead of it. While golfers from the U.S. took down the event the first three years, from 2010 to 2012, it was Mexico's Esteban Toledo who took down the Tournament in 2013, though it was American Wes Short Jr. who brought the title back to the U.S. with his incredible tournament in 2014. Montreal is known for being one of the most beautiful cities in North America, which is why it's the perfect place to head to if you love golf played at the highest level.
Quebec Championship Trivia
Who holds the record at this tournament?
The answer is John Cook, who shot a spectacular 21-under in 2011 to beat runner-up Chien Soon-Lu by three strokes for the tournament. Cook's score wasn't actually the widest margin of victory, however, as that belongs to Mark Calcavecchia. In 2012, Calcavecchia was able to beat the rest of the field by four strokes, finishing 16-under par for the tournament to mark the second-best overall score in tournament history.
