Mr. Carmack -- aka Aaron Carmack -- melds hip-hop and electronica to create an energetic live show that combines his skills as a DJ and producer with his ability to pull chart-topping tracks from a wide berth of genres.
Mr. Carmack's background
Born and raised in San Francisco, Aaron Carmack attended and subsequently dropped out of college before moving to Oahu, where he began to hone the eclectic mix of hip-hop and electronica that would launch his career. Mr. Carmack has gradually been gaining popularity for both his original material and live performances ever since, with his self-released Bang, Vol. 3 and Live/Death each hitting No. 1 on the Bandcamp charts.
Mr. Carmack has become famous for his affiliations with Mad Decent, the LA label that's home to some of the biggest names in the trap, moombahton and dancehall genres, as well as the Team Supreme and Soulection collectives. He made headlines online in 2015, when he released his entire discography, including the EP's Frozen, Drugs, Exodus, Reality and Blu, for free, and then again in 2016, when he removed all of his back catalog from Soundcloud.
Mr. Carmack's biggest hits
Carmack came to international attention with the 2013 tracks "Birth Control" and "Hopscotch," both of which were championed by likes of RL Grime, Djemba Djemba and Eclair Fifi as well as BBC Radio 1. He also enjoyed major online buzz for "Humbled," "See Watchu Got" and "Otis Otis," based on the Otis Redding classic "Try A Little Tenderness."
He's also received acclaim for his mixes of Rihanna's "Work," Ta-Ku and Wafia's "Love Somebody," Kehlani's "Jealous" and Rick Ross & Big Sean's "Sanctified," collaborated with several artists including Skrillex, Salva, Promnite, Jarreau Vandal and Stooki Sound, and produced tracks for Towkia and Vic Mensa.
Mr. Carmack has regularly made dance music site Run the Trap's end-of-year charts, with his remix of Kaaris' "Charge" reaching No. 6 on the Top 30 Future Bass tracks in 2014, and "Pay For What" making No. 11 on the Top 30 Trap Tracks of 2016.

Mr. Carmack has performed at some of the world's biggest festivals including Lollapalooza and Coachella, as well as smaller events such as Low End Theory, BUKU Music & Art Project, Shambala Music Festival and Snowglobe Music Festival. He's also shared the stage with some of the dance world's most celebrated names including Just Blaze, Cashmere Cat and Hudson Mohawke.
