The Nashville Soccer Club is a professional soccer team that was founded in May of 2016 with their first season starting the subsequent year. They play their home games in First Tennessee Park, which has a seating capacity of 10,000, and in the past, they've played a few games at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. The games are generally well-attended, and the fan group, "The Roadies," helps to amp up the excitement level in the stadium. Owned by DMD Soccer, several local investors guide the management of the team. The investment group includes David Dill, president and CEO of LifePoint Health, Marcus Whitney, president of Jumpstart Foundry, and Christoper Redhage, co-founder of ProviderTrust. Court Jeske works as their CEO. Gary Smith is at the helm of the team as head coach. Smith is a former midfielder who played in the UK and professionally for several teams, including Barnet and Aylesbury United. He previously coached the Colorado Rapids, including during the 2010 season when they won the MLS Cup, the Stevenage, and the Atlanta Silverbacks. Find your tickets for Nashville SC games at StubHub.
