The NC State Wolfpack are ready to hit the diamond and play their hardest this season as they match up with some of the best teams in college baseball. The Wolfpack are prepared to make a big push to reach the College World Series this season, which is no easy task. NC State plays in the Atlantic Coast Conference, an excellent college sports conference. Last season they were able to play well enough to earn the second seed in the Fort Worth Regional of the NCAA Tournament. The team was matched up with Stony Brook in the first round of the tournament, and they shut out the Seawolves to advance to the next round. NC State would take on the TCU Horned Frogs in the next round, and they were able to win the contest by a margin of a single run. The following round pitted the same two teams against one another, but this time the Horned Frogs prevailed, eliminating the Wolfpack from the tournament. It was a tough loss for NC State and their fans, but the team is back in 2016 and ready to emerge as a top team and make a run for the National Championship.
The Wolfpack will have to take on the Florida State Seminoles this season in an awesome conference clash. The Seminoles were another team to make the NCAA Tournament out of the ACC last season, and they always have top talent both on the mound and in the batters box. Be there for this matchup and enjoy a great game.
NC State will also have to compete with the Clemson Tigers this season. Clemson has one of the best programs in the nation, and they always seem to be competing for the best record in the ACC. Be there to see this clash in person, and check out the rest of the schedule.
