NCAA Baseball Fullerton Regionals TicketsOn an annual basis, the NCAA chooses 16 regional sites throughout the US to host the first rounds of its Division I Baseball Championship. The championship culminates in the College World Series, which occurs during May and June. The 16 regional sites are chosen from among the 64 teams competing for the championship. The first round of play consists of four teams playing a double-elimination series of games. The winners of the 16 regional contests advance to the Super Regionals. The Super Regionals use a best of three series to determine who will advance to the College World Series. The Series uses a double-elimination round to decide the teams that will compete in the Finals of the College World Series, which uses a best of three series. The NCAA chooses its 64 teams for the Division I tournament from two qualifying groups. Conference champions automatically receive a berth, accounting for 31 of the 64 slots. The remaining 33 teams, referred to as at-large teams, are chosen by the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee. It seeds the top eight teams.
