The Neil Simon Theatre, in the heart of Manhattan, is one of nine Broadway venues managed by the Nederlander Organization. Located at West 52nd Street in the Theater District of Manhattan, the 1,445-seat facility opened in 1927 as the Alvin Theatre. It was renamed in 1983 to honor one of America's most beloved and productive playwrights. The renaming came on the heels of Brighton Beach Memoirs, part one of an autobiographical trilogy about Mr. Simon's youth and family. Biloxi Blues, the second play in the trilogy gained rave reviews as a Neil Simon Theatre event. It wasn't until 1992 that Mr. Simon returned with the hit Jake's Women. Long-running Marque Theater events have included two wildly popular Broadway productions, the Tony Award-winning Hairspray and The Cher Show. Grab your Marquis Theatre Tickets at StubHub.
