When it opened in 1998 as the Coors Amphitheatre, it was the first venue of its type in San Diego. Yes, there's on-site parking. There's no charge for general North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre parking but there are premium and valet parking services available for a fee. The amphitheatre's events are for all ages. Those under the age of two aren't required to have a ticket but must sit on a parent's lap. It should be noted that baby carriers, strollers and wagons aren't permitted in the venue as there is no area available for storage. The incline of the lawn makes it unsafe for stroller use on the lawn.

There's a wide variety of concession offerings at the venue. They are located in the concession plazas on both sides of the stage and over the lawn. Are cameras allowed?
The general amphitheatre camera policy allowed cameras, camera phones and disposable and digital cameras. Professional cameras, those with detachable or zoom lenses, will not be permitted.
