Northern Colorado Bears Women's Volleyball TicketsThe Northern Colorado Bears volleyball team began in 1967 under Rosemary Fri, who was also the tennis coach at Northern Colorado and served the women's athletics department for 45 years. No statistics were kept during her time at the helm of the volleyball team. What is known is that the next head coach, Linda Delk, developed a winning program at Northern Colorado during her tenure and only had four losing seasons between 1976 and 2001. And the team would keep on winning, next under head coach Ron Alexander and then under current head coach Lyndsey (Benson) Oates. It's also worth noting that three entire volleyball teams, 1981, 1993 and 2002, were inducted into the Northern Colorado Bears Hall of Fame for their excellence on the court. As far as NCAA Tournament play goes, the Bears have appeared 20 times in NCAA postseason play. Get your Northern Colorado Bears women's volleyball tickets at StubHub.
