Northern Kentucky Norse Basketball Tickets
Northern Kentucky University is relatively new to college basketball. It first fielded a team in 1971 as a member of Division II under head coach Mote Hils. By the mid-1990s, Northern Kentucky had become a national power. Led by head coach Ken Shields, who still holds the school record of 306 wins, the team won its first Great Lakes Valley Conference championship in 1995 and then reached the national championship game in 1996 and 1997. This was followed by regular appearances in the NCAA Division II Tournament in 1998, 2000, 2001, 2003 and more. After proving itself in Division II, the school made the leap to Division I in 2012 as a member of the southeastern Atlantic Sun Conference. However, in 2015, the team joined the Horizon League, which oriented it more toward the Midwest states. Northern Kentucky made an immediate impact with two regular season conference championships in 2018 and 2019. After winning the conference tournament in 2017 and 2019, the team made its first NCAA Tournament appearances. If you are a fan of the team, then you can purchase Northern Kentucky Norse basketball tickets at StubHub, a leading source for live events.
