The Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was created by Dr. Louis Parker who wanted to bring a neo-classical theater space to the South Florida area. This theater opened in 1967 with a production of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple. For 40 years, the Parker Playhouse has been steadily featuring hit plays and productions.
