Opened in 1972, the Pete Maravich Assembly Center is a multipurpose arena located on the Louisiana State University campus in Baton Rouge. The lobby of the venue features a statue of LSU legend Shaquille O'Neal, and the LSU Tigers and Lady Tigers basketball teams along with the LSU Tigers women's gymnastics and volleyball teams all regularly use the 13,215-seat stadium. Preseason games for the Atlanta Hawks also take place at this large venue that features state-of-the-art video facilities.
