Originally named the Garden State Arts Center, the PNC Bank Arts Center is an outdoor amphitheater in Holmdel Township, New Jersey. The venue first opened its doors on June 12, 1968, and featured the Philadelphia Orchestra. During the 1990s, classical music was phased out for the most part to make room for more popular music. It was also during this time that the name was changed to PNC Bank Arts Center. The amphitheater holds approximately 17,500 people. The venue has room for 7,000 people, while the grass area can hold an additional 10,500. James Taylor has performed at the amphitheater almost every year. Additional performers who have had concerts at the venue include artists such as Bruce Springsteen,Sting and Glen Campbell. The best seats at the amphitheater are located at the very front, in the 101-104 section. The second-row seats, 201-204, also offer a great view of the stage. All of the seats are covered.

The PNK Bank Arts Center offers a free shuttle. Guests can take NJ transit to the Aberdeen/Matawan train station. A shuttle will then pick guests up from the station and drop them off at the station after the show.
