Portland Sea Dogs Tickets
The Portland Sea Dogs were established as an expansion team for the 1994 season. The team spent its first nine seasons as the Double-A affiliate for the Miami Marlins before the Red Sox took the team over for the 2003 season. While the team's inaugural season was a struggle, finishing 60-81, it didn't take long for things to turn around. The Sea Dogs made the playoffs each of the next three seasons, including two trips to the Eastern League Championship. The next several seasons saw regression as the team only posted two winning records before the Red Sox took over the franchise. Starting in 2005, the Sea Dogs made four straight playoff appearances, including winning the Eastern League Championship in 2006. Recently, things have been a struggle for Portland as they haven't achieved a winning record or made a playoff run since 2014.
