Princeton Tigers Hockey TicketsNCAA hockey has a long history, and Princeton has been there for most of it. The first Princeton Tigers hockey team took to the ice for the 1899-1900 season. College hockey was very different in those days. Though the Tigers were playing intercollegiate games, they had no head coach until the 1920-1921 season. Things were far less structured when compared to today's NCAA. Currently, the Princeton Tigers play hockey in the ECAC conference. This conference is home to many other Ivy League schools like Cornell, Harvard and Dartmouth. The ECAC is very competitive. The 2013 and 2014 NCAA Championship teams both came from this conference. Since the arrival of Head Coach Ron Fogarty, Princeton's hockey program has made its presence felt in the conference and the wider league. Prior to his arrival, it had been almost a decade since the Tigers had made it to the NCAA Tournament. Now is a great time to see the Tigers hockey team.
