Queen Kwong Biography - Harking Back to the Golden Era of Grunge

This exciting new act is the brainchild of L.A based musician Calle Callaway, who was discovered by Grammy Award winning industrial rock virtuoso Trent Reznor at the age of 17. After opening for Nine Inch Nails in 2005, Caraway developed a huge underground fan base for her primal performance style, before dropping out of the lime light for a couple of years.

Remerging in 2009 under a new moniker, the singer songwriter decided to bring some other musicians on board for her latest crowdfunded music project, including her boyfriend Wes Borland (guitarist for nu metal legends Limp Bizkit). Protesting against the current sanitation of rock in visceral tracks like 'Long Gone' and 'Cold Daggers', this L.A. based musician displays the same raw and volatile stage presence as her heroes The Stooges, Nirvana and Swans.
