Born and raised in Alabama, Riley Green is a country singer-songwriter from Nashville. He self-released four EPs between 2013 and 2017 before signing with Big Machine Label Group in 2018. His first album with Big Machine Label Group, In A Truck Right Now, produced the single "There Was This Girl" which made it to No. 1 on the US country charts. His EP Get That Man a Beer is at No. 8 on the US Heatseekers list, and his single "In Love by Now" is climbing the country charts in 2019. Green was named a Rolling Stones Country Artists You Need to Know in 2018. He opened for Brad Paisley's World Tour in 2019. Prior to launching his musical career, Green won Season 5 of Redneck Island, CMT's answer to Survivor. He also has a hunting show on DirtRoad TV.

Raised in the Golden Saw Music Hall

Riley Green's grandfather, Buford Green, regularly hosted a gathering of pickers and grinners on Friday nights outside of Jacksonville, Ala. In an old wood house known as the Golden Saw Music Hall, Green grew up listening to local bluegrass, country and gospel musicians, and he was invited to join from an early age. This experience is evident in his traditional country songwriting approach and the often-raucous jams of the three guitarists in his band. For all his old-fashioned roots, Green's early career was fueled by social media. Long before having a record deal or a publishing contract, he had millions of streams on social media and loyal fans singing his songs at every concert.
