Who is a longstanding rival of the Rochester Tigers?The Rochester Tigers have a longstanding rivalry with fellow Atlantic Hockey Association members the Niagara Purple Eagles. That rivalry raged on during the 2019-2020 season when the Tigers and the Purple Eagles met for back-to-back games on Nov. 8–9, 2019. The first of these games went to overtime and had the Purple Eagles eventually eke out a victory in the second overtime period. In the second game, the Tigers triumphed with a score of 4-1.
