Rocky Horror Picture Show
Rocky Horror Picture Show is a musical horror comedy that has collected quite a cult following since it premiered. The show begins with an engaged couple, Brad and Janet, who run into car trouble on a cold, rainy November night. In their quest to find a telephone so they can call for help, the pair stumbles upon a nearby castle. Inside, they find a group of bizarre folks who are hosting an Annual Transylvanian Convention. Soon enough, Brad and Janet are swept up into an outlandish world where Dr. Frank N. Furter has created a living science experiment named Rocky.
Rocky’s creation required a partial brain transplant, offered up by former delivery boy Eddie. Through a series of strange events that include cannibalism and an alien confession, the group in the castle must endure a weird cabaret performance and the realization that the castle was never really what it appeared to be. The show ends with a note about the narrator’s perception of humans, which seems entirely unfavorable.
