The story of School of Rock follows a failed rock star wannabe named Dewey Finn, who decides to pretend to be a substitute teacher to make some quick money. There, at the elite preparatory academy that hires him, he takes a classroom of tightly-wound book learners and teaches them about the joy and liberation of rock and roll music.
