Located in Collingswood, New Jersey, just 20 minutes outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Scottish Rite Auditorium is South Jersey's biggest auditorium. Built on an eight-acre property originally as the Excelsior Scottish Rite Temple, the facility is now run by the Collingswood Foundation for the Arts. Each year, more than 20 musical artists and groups grace its stage, with concerts from the likes of the Indigo Girls, Rick Springfield, David Crosby, The Zombies and Pat Benatar. The auditorium is also the home of the Collingswood Community Theatre, which brings four to five shows per year from small plays to grand-scale musicals to its stage. Past theater performances at the Scottish Rite Auditorium include You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Bye Bye Birdie, Fiddler on the Roof and Shrek the Musical.
