From an early age, Sigrid showed that she had the musical talent it would take to become a pop sensation. Hailing from a small town in Norway, Sigrid has built an international following with her indie-pop vibes. Sigrid comes from a musical family. Her sister is a trained singer while her brother has an indie-rock band. Sigrid knew early on that music would be her calling, and she learned to play both the piano and the guitar. After a short spell in her brotherÕs band, Sigrid decided to pursue her solo career. By 16, she had released her first song and found a home with Island Records. From there, it was a steady climb to other career milestones. Her song ÒDonÕt Kill My VibeÓ racked up millions of plays on music streaming services. She also won BBCÕs "Sound of 2018." Sigrid is known for her smooth, powerful voice that mixes indie rock and pop influences, and her songs feature cool, unexpected melodies.
