Sound on Sound history
Created by Fun Fun Fun Fest founder, Graham Williams, Sound on Sound Fest debuted in 2016. This annual event was developed with a similar mindset as the original FFF Fest, combining punk and metal, electronic, indie rock and hip-hop -- in addition to comedy acts, BMX performances, and much more.
Originally founded by Margin Walker Presents, an Austin-based promotions company, their team rethought what it meant to hold a modern music festival. This company has a history of over 1,000 venue bookings and events across Texas and, with each passing year, the event itself has grown in terms of popularity and press.
Being highly fan-focused, SOS Fest brings the audience three main stages set on 23 acres. Offering up Austin-centric culture, attendees can enjoy many local businesses, including food trucks, restaurants, artists and nonprofits. With over two dozen acts a day, this early November event brings people together in a one-of-a-kind setting.
