South Florida Bulls Football Tickets
First established in 1997 under head coach Jim Leavitt, South Florida is one of the youngest college football programs in the country. Though it started out as a small Division I-AA outfit, the Bulls moved quickly through the ranks of the NCAA. By 2001, the team joined Division I-A football as an independent program. By 2003, the Bulls had joined Conference USA. Two years later, it switched to the Big East Conference, which put it in competition with some of the best teams in the country. In 2007, South Florida made the national rankings for the first time and peaked at No. 2 in the country. Following the end of Big East Conference football, South Florida joined a new conference called The American. In 2016, South Florida posted its best ever season with an 11-2 record and a win over South Carolina in the Birmingham Bowl. A year later, the team returned to the Birmingham Bowl with a 10-2 record and triumphed over Texas Tech.
