Located in the heart of the Power & Light District, the Sprint Center is a multi-purpose arena that has served the downtown Kansas City area since 2007. The arena celebrated its opening with a concert by Elton John. Since then it has hosted basketball games, wrestling, concerts, conventions and other events. It has been the main site of the Big 12 men's basketball tournament every year since 2010 and has hosted both men's and women's NCAA Tournament games. It is also the former home of the Kansas City Command of the Arena Football League. The College Basketball Experience, which houses the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame, is directly connected to the Sprint Center. The Sprint Center is directly accessible by either bus or streetcar. Both services are either operated or overseen by the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority in conjunction with the transportation development district.
Does the Sprint Center have on-site parking?
Guests attending Spring Center events will find several parking lots available within a block of the venue. If you cannot acquire a parking spot nearby, then you can still find numerous parking lots within several blocks of the arena throughout the downtown Kansas City area. Unless you have a reserved space, parking is sold separately and does not come with your Sprint Center tickets.

Yes, the Sprint Center has several options for premium seating. Heartland Coca-Cola features soda, energy drinks, Icees and other beverages. Jose Pepper's Cart features nachos and specialty drinks.
