Tailor Made democratizes music festivals -- fans choose the final lineup for this annual event. Festival-goers select their favorite acts from two pools of artists on the Tailor Made website, with the most-voted-for artists added to the roster. The result? Music lovers have more power than ever before. It's like the 106 & Park of festivals! The Tailor Made Musical Festival tour is popular with hip-hop and R&B fans who want to customize the live experience.
Tailor Made Music Festival background
Tailor Made debuted in Sept. 2017 in Buffalo, New York. Fans voted for the acts they wanted to appear at the event in early July. There were two pools of talent to choose from: national acts and local artists. The local pool showcased up-and-coming performers, including Chae Hawk featuring Bless, Jess Classic, Short Moscato and Lumberjack Matt. The public ballot closed on July 16, with the two most-voted-for acts from each pool added to the festival's lineup.
As well as all the live music, Tailor Made has loads of activities to keep party revelers entertained. There are DJ sets, and festival-goers can purchase food and drink. The first Tailor Made Music Festival took place at the recently-redeveloped Canalside, which is close to public transportation and accommodation options. This made it easy for ticket holders from across New York State -- and beyond -- to travel to the event.
