The TaxSlayer Center resides on the shores of the Mississippi River in downtown Moline, Illinois. It is the official home of the Quad City Steamwheelers of the Indoor Football League and the Quad City Storm of the Southern Professional Hockey League. Former tenants include the Quad City Thunder of the Continental Basketball Association, the Quad City Mallards of the United Hockey League and the Quad City Flames of the American Hockey League. It has also hosted professional wrestling, Missouri Valley Conference NCAA women's basketball tournaments and numerous concerts, conventions and trade shows. Opened on May 28th, 1993, the TaxSlayer Center is owned and operated by the Quad City Civic Center Authority. It has a seating capacity of 12,000 for concerts and 9,200 for hockey games. Can I reach the TaxSlayer Center by public transportation?
Numerous bus routes run to and from the TaxSlayer Center for events. Check the bus lines in your area to make sure you can obtain a ride to the arena.
Does the TaxSlayer Center have on-site parking?
The main parking lot is located right next to the arena. There are also three overflow parking lots located around the surrounding blocks. If you cannot obtain a parking pass for one of the official lots, there are still numerous public parking spaces around the downtown area. You can also purchase advance parking passes for the parking ramp, which is connected to the arena through a skywalk. In most cases, parking passes are sold separately from all TaxSlayer Center events. Prices may vary based on location.
How do TaxSlayer Center events accommodate special-needs guests?
The arena has a total of 43 handicapped parking spaces located in the surrounding lots. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The arena has a drop-off and pickup lane located directly in front of the main entrance. Seating for disabled guests is available throughout the arena. Accommodations can also be made to assist people with hearing or visual impairments. Call ahead of time to make sure that all of your needs will be met.
Does the TaxSlayer Center have premium seating?
Yes, both club seating and suite seating are available. Club seating is located in section 113. It comes with comfortable accommodations and access to the VIP Club Lounge. The luxury suites come with a luxurious box, reserved parking, catering services, a private television and a bar area. It fits between 18 and 24 people. The Truss Club suites are semiprivate luxury boxes. Guests who hold these boxes have preferred access to use the luxury suites as well.
What kinds of concessions does the TaxSlayer Center offer?
