Music runs in the family
Ethan Barnett, better known by stage name Ten Tonnes, is forging a distinctive path with his old school rock melodies. Being in the shadow of famous older brother Geroge Ezra has never been a problem for him, utilising his sibling's meteoric status to gain invaluable industry lessons. The brothers from Hertford grew up in a musical household and still jam together at every opportunity they get. Ten Tonnes originally began playing the drums but transitioned to the guitar when he figured it was a more social instrument. After school, he followed his passion by enrolling in a music production course at York University, however dropped out and focused his attention towards recording. He then went on to independently release his debut EP 'Subtle Changes' and secure a subsequent record deal with Warner Brothers. Under the label, he released another EP, 'Born To Lose', which helped to grow his following.
