Texas A&M Aggies Women's Volleyball TicketsVolleyball was originally recognized as a sport at Texas A&M in 1975. As a member of the Southwest Conference, first-year Head Coach Laura Kitzmiller established the Lady Aggies volleyball program that would go on to experience remarkable success. By 1981, the Aggies volleyball team finally made it to its first NCAA Tournament under second-year coach Terry Condon. The beginning of the 1993 season saw the most historic run in the history of Texas A&M ladies' volleyball. Legendary coach Laurie Corbelli took over the program and guided the players to the NCAA tourney that season and for the next 12 consecutive seasons. The Aggies made a move to the Big 12 Conference prior to the 1997 season but continued the run of dominance under Coach Corbelli. During the 13 consecutive postseason appearances, the volleyball team went to three Sweet 16 appearances and two Elite 8 showings. After a Sweet 16 appearance in 2009, Corbelli would take the Aggies to another six straight tournaments between 2011 and 2016.
