The story begins as famous rock star Rachel Marron receives threats from an unknown stalker. Her manager encourages her to hire a bodyguard. She hires former secret service agent Frank Farmer who takes charge. Rachel objects as she is accustomed to giving the orders. They battle and, in time, learn to work together. As Frank becomes an integral part of her inner circle, the two find themselves falling in love.
The stalker’s threats become more serious as Frank and Rachel find their professional and personal lives on a collision course. In a race against time, each will need to rely on each other like never before in this musical featuring a powerful love story and famous musical hits like “One Moment in Time,” “So Emotional,” and one of the best-selling songs of all time, “I Will Always Love You."
Performances of The Bodyguard come to the stage at Thrivent Financial Hall at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton. The theater possesses a unique design.
