About The Bodyguard
The Bodyguard is a romantic thriller that captures the hearts of audiences with music and intrigue. Based on the 1992 Oscar-nominated film of the same name, the musical tells the unlikely love story of bodyguard Frank Farmer and pop star Rachel Marron—sharpened by a mysterious stalker who threatens Rachel’s. Former Secret Service agent Frank Farmer is hired as the bodyguard to protect her.
The musical remains true to the original screenplay; tension builds as Rachel and Frank each expect to give the other orders, but neither expects to fall in love.
