About The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
Based on the seven-time award-winning novel by Mark Haddon and adapted by Simon Stephens, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time shadows a 15-year-old autistic boy named Christopher Boone as he tries to solve the mystery of a missing dog. While using tricks and tips learned from his favorite detective, Sherlock Holmes, Christopher learns to navigate through not only the world around him but in relationships and his own thoughts. Within his genius, the audience is given a peek inside the mind of a boy who slowly learns to grapple with fear, love, anxiety and more.
The play premiered in London in 2012 and has been critically praised ever since. However, with multiple UK, Mexico and Seoul tours under its belt, Broadway is what made the play a shining star in the theater world. Introducing new faces such as Alex Sharp as Christopher, The Curious Incident was the new darling of Broadway.
