Known for its unique hyperbolic roof, The Pavilion Villanova, now known as the William B. Finneran Pavilion, is the official home of the Villanova University Wildcats men's and women's basketball teams. It was also briefly the home of the Philadelphia Freedoms, which played in the World Team Tennis league between 2010 and 2016. The arena is located on the university's campus in Villanova, Pa., approximately 10 miles west of Philadelphia. Opened in February 1986, it was originally named the John Eleuthere du Pont Pavilion. The arena has a seating capacity of 6,500 for basketball, 5,500 for concerts and 3,500 for tennis. The pavilion underwent a $60 million renovation following the 2017 season. How can I reach the the pavilion by public transit?

The Norristown high-speed rail line will take you directly to the Stadium-Ithan Avenue station, which is located right next to the arena. You can also take bus route 106, which is operated by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority.

Preferred parking is located in the A-2 lot directly adjacent to the stadium. Season-ticket holders can park at the I-1 parking garage, the I-2 south campus lot and the M-2 SAC garage located near the stadium. General parking is available at the L-2 surface lot and the S-4 garage and surface lots.

Is The Pavilion Villanova handicapped-accessible?

For guests with valid permits, handicapped parking spaces are located at the M-1 garage across the street from the arena. If the M-1 parking lot is full, then you can also park at the I-1 garage. A drop-off and pickup area is located at the north gate across from the main entrance to the arena. Accessible seating is located on both the concourse and arena levels. Service animals are allowed. You can call ahead of time to make special arrangements if necessary.
